Being an Ambassador for the Glasgow Care Foundation

As an ambassador for the Glasgow Care Foundation, I've had the incredible honour of being part of an organisation that has been spreading love and support throughout Glasgow for 150 years. Yes, you read that right – 150 years of making a huge difference in people's lives.

Glasgow Care Foundation was established in 1874 before the NHS and Welfare State with the main aim to alleviate poverty in Glasgow, with the motto “A Helping Hand not a Hand Out,”.

Now, let me tell you a little bit about what they do. The Glasgow Care Foundation provides support to some of Glasgow's poorest families and individuals when they cannot get help from any other source. This takes the form of essential household goods and where there is food poverty, they provide supermarket gift cards; restoring a sense of dignity and hope in their lives.

Being an ambassador for the Glasgow Care Foundation isn't just about ticking off boxes or attending events – it's about being part of something in a world that can sometimes feel uncertain.

NM Creates offer to raise money for the Glasgow Care Foundation.

Help me to raise £500!!

As well as helping the Glasgow Care Foundation get the word out I also want to do my bit to raise money. Now, if you know me you'll know that a sponsored silence is out of the question haha. So, I’m offering a £50 donation for every VIP Design Day in May or June with the aim to raise £500. You can check out available dates here.

Glasgow Care Foundation 150th Anniversary Campaign

Glasgow Care Foundation’s 150th Campaign: 150 for £150

This year marks their 150th anniversary and they are celebrating with an amazing campaign: 150 for £150. They are asking 150 individuals and companies in Glasgow to donate just £150. This would help them raise £28,125 (with Gift Aid). Their goal for this year is to raise £150,000!

So, if you're looking for a way to make a difference in your community, why not join in? Whether it's by volunteering your time, making a donation, or simply spreading the word about the amazing work they do, every little bit helps. Together, we can continue to make a difference throughout Glasgow and beyond, one act of kindness at a time.
